Giorgio
Bongiorno, brings over 30 years
of country management , sales, sales management and marketing
experience.
As Siebel
MultiChannel Services Consultant, Giorgio introduced and organized
the SSM
workshops initiative and supported the
delivery at IBM in Europe and he was responsible for client acquisition,
account management, and implementation of Siebel MultiChannel
Services’ programs within client organizations.
As Finaki country representative he launched
since 2001 in
Italy a successful yearly CIO gathering event with the major
Italian companies and the most relevant ICT suppliers.
As President and CEO of Laserdrive Ltd., Giorgio turned around
this start-up company within two years by providing wider financial
support through corporate investors and venture capitalists.
He also developed alliance partnerships, successfully launched
a new line of products, and generated the first revenue stream
for this company. As CEO of Gould Computer SpA he started the Gould organization
and he developed the superminicomputer awareness in Italy taking
the company in a few years to a relevant a profitable market
position.
As Managing Director for Olivetti Austria and Hungary, Giorgio
was responsible for $200 million in revenue and a staff of 500
people. In this position, he developed relationships with important
reference customers and restructured the service and PC divisions,
restoring profitability to the subsidiary within the planned
two-year period.
As Vice President
Europe he developed the Command& Control
and the Public Authorities Software market for HTE Inc. in Europe.
Giorgio began his sales career at Siemens AG in Germany where
he held Country Divisional Manager and Sales Manager positions.
He is now President He is now President of Associated Business Consultants Sas ,
actively cooperating with different US companies in Change
Management matters for Europe.
Giorgio attended
M.B.A. courses at the Universita’ Bocconi
and received a Doctor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico
di Milano. He also received a Market Management Master and a
General Management Master from the International Management School
. As guest and key-note speaker he attended a number of International
Seminars and Conferences in USA and in Europe.
